Amazing Things Arts Center

October 11, 2017 | 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Come join us at Amazing Things Arts Center. Cabaret can be singing, reciting poetry, dance, performance art… it is a window on the soul. Here, you can feel comfortable performing, knowing you are among a community that shares your joys and sorrows. We welcome new faces and gather the second Wednesday of every month. Leslie Holmes is our monthly host. (Please join our mailing list to get reminders of the monthly featured performer).

This month’s feature: Matt Romero

Matt  has performed, choreographed, and directed at many theatres in his native California and the greater Boston area. Recent area credits include Stoneham Theatre’s production of Thoroughly Modern Millie, which earned an Elliot Norton Award nomination for best ensemble, and won the Elliot Norton award for best director. Additionally, he was seen in New Repertory Theatre’s RENT playing many different roles, and before that as Angel in Dream Out Loud Productions’ RENT at the BCA Plaza Theater, which earned him an IRNE award nomination for best supporting actor.

Matt choreographed the Boston regional premiere of Andrew Lippa’s A Little Princess with Fiddlehead Theatre Company, as well as The Longwood Players’ production of NINE, which earned him an IRNE nomination.

Tom LaMark is the piano accompanist for the evening.
