SPECIAL POST STORM RATE: $5.00 FOR EVERYONE!  SING YOUR SNOW BLUES AWAY!  STUDENTS WELCOME!

Have a song to sing? We provide a terrific pianist (and piano!)–you hand him your sheet music and the key you want to sing in, and voila!  We also welcome poets, musicians and dancers–a true Cabaret for all ages! We gather the second Wednesday of every month. Leslie Holmes is our monthly host. (Please join our mailing list to get reminders of the monthly featured performer).

This month’s feature: Sara Brodsky

Sara’s mom, a former opera singer, wanted Sara to become a concert pianist, but Sara really wanted to sing. “Well,” warned her mom, “just don’t get too serious about it.”

So, taking her mother’s advice, Sara majored in English in college and MINORED in voice. Then she got a masters degree in public health and moved to Boston. Alas, the itch became too much to bear and Sara joined the movement known as community theater. So as not to take THAT too seriously, Sara founded and directed her own ballroom dance business, Best Foot Forward, which left her little time for anything else.

The year Sara retired her business, she came to an Amazing Things open mic and stepped onto the stage once again. Sara has performed at numerous venues in the Boston area with her one-woman shows, and with the Brodsky, Babs, and Burrage Trio–all of which she takes VERY seriously.

Tickets available at the door!
