The David Eure Quartet is a NEW stellar jazz group that raises the bar for social consciousness and art. They are the Movers and Shakers of Old School with New Attitude. The raw talent from these highly-trained Jazz performers is remarkable and inspiring. They will guide you on a musical journey with profound and unapologetic messages that will awaken your soul. The quartet is David Eure (Jazz Violin), Alexei Tsiginov (Keyboard/Piano/Vibes), Daniel Day (Bass) and Shane Dahler (Drums).
David Eure virtually transforms the violin into a human voice, embodying a soulful sound with precision, clarity and finesse. He effortlessly bridges classical and jazz styles with elegant aplomb.
Eure has performed with Yusef Lateef, Ran Blake, Webster Lewis, Doron Richard Johnson, Kim Trusty, Aaron Goldberg, Gary Valente, Cecil McBee, Wayne Newton, George Russell Jr., and Christine Correa. He has also opened for 8-time Grammy nominated artist Kirk Whalum, Walter Beasley, Alex Bugnon, Taj Mahal, Richie Havens and Rick Danko. He has also performed solo for President Clinton. He continues to record and perform jazz in the U.S. and is a jazz violin instructor at the New England Conservatory of Music (Prep. & CE – Jazz Faculty).
