“People think that stories are shaped by people. In fact, it’s the other way around.” — Terry Pratchett

Why go into Boston when you can hear the very best of storytellers right here in Metrowest?! Love the Moth? Want to hear the same great quality?  Come join us!

Fugitive Stories  is an event that brings new and experienced storytellers together to challenge and delight us with this profoundly personal, accessible craft. We bring Moth and Massmouth Slam winners from Greater Boston who prepare a five- to six-minute story on a theme.

And YOU can be part of the evening! We invite community members each night to tell THEIR stories…YOUR stories! Sign up online to request to be a scheduled teller (use this link)  OR  Come that night, put your name in a hat and you may be picked!

Tonight’s theme: On the Move

Featured Tellers: Joe Pagliuca: Host and storyteller at Out of the Blue Too Gallery in Cambridge; Karen Lock Kolp: Massmouth story slam winner, author, educator and creator & producer of the podcast “We Turned Out OK.”; Rose Saia: 2x Moth StorySLAM winner, 3rd place Moth GrandSLAM, 2x Massmouth story slam winner, featured teller at WGBH & International Institute of New England’s Suitcase Stories series, co-producer Fugitive Stories
