Blending brave and honest songwriting, first-rate musicianship, and a huge helping of native Canadian wit, Nancy Beaudette is an artist of songs and heart.  She was raised near Cornwall, Ontario, a place sustained by farming and millwork where French and English languages were friendly neighbours. Her songwriting delves into those roots, weaving a nostalgic past into lush songs of familial history, good-humored folly and poignant observations of life and loss.  Nancy’s 2015 release of “South Branch Road”, her 8th CD, was received with critical acclaim, adding to the numerous accolades accrued through the years.  Come to one of Nancy’s shows and you will experience first-hand all the warmth and welcome of a Canadian kitchen party!

“Beaudette is already a bright bulb on the independent music scene but the release of South Branch Road demands that light shine even brighter. I can’t even remember the last time I enjoyed an album this much. It’s beyond extraordinary!” – J. Pappalardo, My Kind of Country

“What I love about Beaudette’s work is how many layers there are to each track…And her prose evokes a type of energy and emotion that only few musicians are capable of arousing.” – Alec Cunningham, Journalist, Knoxville, TN

Susan Cattaneo is one of Boston’s most respected songwriters. A powerful singer and sophisticated writer, Susan combines vivid storytelling with a modern songwriter’s spin. Respectful of tradition, but not bound by it, Susan blends rock, folk and blues with a healthy dose of country. Call it New England Americana with a twang. Susan’s latest album, Haunted Heart ,released in January 2014,  was voted one of Alternate Root’s Top 100 Albums of the Year, and won Album of the Year at the Limelight Music Awards. This year, Susan performed as a finalist at the Philadelphia Songwriters Project and at the Wildflower Festival Songwriters contest and was an Emerging Artist at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival. Susan is a Berklee professor, and is currently recording her fifth album, which will feature collaborations with Bill Kirchen, The Bottle Rockets, Mark Erelli and more.

“Cattaneo has been playing around Boston and its environs for a while, sometimes solo and sometimes with stellar players. She rocks with the best of them and also sings ballads so sweetly and lovingly that it can bring tears to the eyes of those listening” – No Depression
