She has created two original solo pieces, and performed last summer in an original collaborative piece in FeverFest. She has been in two productions with the imaginary beasts theatre company, and continues one of her favorite jobs, telling ghost stories in graveyards in downtown Boston. Aimee Rose organizes a monthly storytelling potluck in her home in Jamaica Plain. Kelly DuMar is a Sherborn-based playwright whose award-winning plays have been produced around the U.S. and Canada. Most recently, three scenes from ENVIA! were produced by the New Ideas Festival, Alumnae Theatre, Toronto; her short romantic comedy, No Strings, was performed in Boston and NYC; and her dramatic monologue, Singing Over Your Bones, was part of the Our Voices Festival, Regis College, in February. Kelly's full-length drama, Weekend at the Dreaming Cloud, won the Susan McIntyre Play Festival, Yellow Taxi Productions, Nashua, NH, and was presented as a staged reading at the Central Square Theatre, Cambridge, New Works by Women program, 2009. Kelly produces the annual Our Voices Women's Play Festival for Boston area Women Playwrights. She is a past president of Playwrights' Platform, Boston, and a member of the Dramatists Guild.
