POSITION: Marketing & Outreach Coordinator

 REPORTS TO:  Executive Director



The Marketing & Outreach Coordinator will be a new position within a small staff with the primary task to extend our visibility throughout Metrowest and Greater Boston.  This person will identify new and creative marketing opportunities and ensure the timely posting of all upcoming shows and events on websites and social media.

 The Marketing & Outreach Coordinator will work with staff to coordinate box office coverage and plan and participate in area events as well as volunteer & membership events. 


ATAC is a membership based non-profit organization that is a local hub of energy and creativity and a gathering place that makes the arts available, affordable and accessible to populations diverse in age, economic status, ethnicity, and geography. We host live music five to six nights a week and produce four art galleries throughout Framingham.  We also host comedy and theater throughout the year.



  • Identify new and creative marketing opportunities
  • Ensure the timely posting of all upcoming shows and events on a select list of websites as well as Facebook, Twitter and other social media
  • Coordinate box office coverage with Office Manager, and staff Box Office at least once per weekend
  • Partnering with ED on plan for creative communications to members for highlighting benefits of membership
  • Represent ATAC at various community & regional events (e.g. Taste of Metrowest, Earth Day, Metrofest)
  • Work with ED to plan, coordinate and implement member events including Annual Meeting
  • Manage phone coverage as needed, in coordination with Office Manager



  • Outstanding personal and written communication skills
  • High level of self-direction and organization
  • Experience with social media promotional tools
  • Comfort with and enthusiasm for nonprofit collaborative/team work environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with managing a diverse group of volunteers
  • Bilingual Skills a plus

 HOURS/BENEFITS:  15-20 hours per week. Eight paid days vacation per year. No health insurance. Two free tickets to all ATAC sponsored shows.
