A wicked fun night of A’Capella AND Tunes for Tots toy fundraiser!

Ball in the House is excited to be hosting their 12th Annual Tunes For Toys benefit concert at Amazing Things with GrooveBarbers!  We’ll be collecting new, unwrapped toys to donate to Children’s Hospital Boston.  All toys must be brand new and unwrapped. No stuffed animals, please. Children’s Hospital is always looking for toy donations to supply their activity rooms, provide birthday gifts to patients that have to celebrate in the hospital, and to celebrate major recovery accomplishments.

Ball in the House is an R&B/Soul/Pop a cappella group that has been entertaining audiences of all ages for over 15 years. Taking a cappella to the next stage, Ball in the House makes “music that’ll move ya” with beatbox and vocal bass under their cool harmonies to create a sound that’s hard to believe. These guys seamlessly blend many styles from classic R&B and Motown, to contemporary Pop and R&B, in unique covers and catchy original music to create a show for all ages! Audience participation has them singing and dancing along, and leaving the show amazed at the power of the human voice.

An A’cappella supergroup? Sounds paradoxical, absurd, perhaps even dangerous; indeed, The GrooveBarbers is all these things. Each member of this all-vocal powerhouse quartet is a bona fide star in his own right: Sean Altman, Charlie Evett and Steve Keyes are former members of the pioneering contemporary a cappella group Rockapella, and Kevin Weist is a renowned bald vocal guru. Collectively they have established themselves as the “go to” vocal group for rock, doo-wop, jazz and even (no way!) barbershop!

Tickets: Member $22 ~ Regular $25 ~ Senior 65+/Student $24 ~ Child Under 12 $12

Come early (or during intermission) and shop at the FDR Pop-up Holiday Bazaar, located on the 2nd floor!
