Erica Leigh is an ASCAP and SESAC award-winning songwriter who earned her bachelors degree in Songwriting and Voice from Berklee College of Music in 2010. She was selected to study under 7-time Grammy award-winning John Mayer during his week-long visit to the college, learning invaluable lessons about the craft of songwriting and production. She later released her debut album to iTunes – on the same day Erica was given an untimely cancer diagnosis and nearly lost her voice permanently to her illness. Throughout her recovery, Erica channeled this experience through music and it deeply transformed her songwriting and creative purpose. Over the years Erica has backed artists like Liz Longley and Donovan Woods on stage, and sung on multiple albums with 2-time Grammy award-winning producer Ben Wisch. She is currently honing a new batch of songs for a sophomore album inspired by her journey as a survivor. Erica is also a painter, and works full time out of a dual music and art studio in Framingham, MA.
