The Amazing Starbucks Gallery
Every flower holds the whole mystery in its short cycle. ~May Sarton
“I have always loved flowers. One of my early memories is one of playing near my mother while she weeded her flower garden.
When I was a slightly older kid, I delighted in identifying wild Ilowers. I tried to create a wildflower garden. Then I tried pressing flowers and creating note cards with them. As an adult, I had a flower garden. I always have a wonderful time in a flower garden: creating it, weeding it, or just sitting and looking at it. And I also love photographing Ilowers in gardens as well as in my home studio. When I look at a flower up close, it is a miraculous thing. Its a perfect venue for my way of seeing in abstract details: with color, line, shape and negative space to enhance the flower’s appeal.” – Jean Schnell
