Work with translucent paper, light boxes, and other materials to create layered luminary collages that can stand alone in a window or take a photo that can be transformed into a transparent window cling luminary. Relaxing. Fun. Transformative.
Learn how light and colored light is a healing factor especially during the dark wintertime. Learn how to work with layered and textured material to create new visuals. Learn how to use windows as spaces for art. All materials provided: light boxes, translucent paper, scissors and glue and tape.
Cathy Weaver Taylor is a former middle school teacher with over 25 years of experience. She is presently showing her luminary work in projects connected to libraries (Luminaries in the Library project funded by local MCC grants) and shows her diverse artwork in galleries in the Worcester and Greater Boston areas.
