Looking for reliable, warm, enthusiastic House Managers to be head of the house on event nights. 

Position Responsibilities include:

  • Open building and ensure venue is ready for the show
  • Welcome and direct volunteers serving as ushers, box office and bartenders
  • Set up chairs as needed in conjunction with ushers
  • Welcome performers and review evening schedule
  • Assist sound engineers with set up
  • Make announcements to audience at beginning of show and ensure reasonable time for intermission.
  • Close up building, ensuring all doors secured, lights off, garbage removed

Skills Desired:

  • Demonstrated Reliability
  • Experience with live events
  • Positive attitude, dependable, excellent inter-personal skills
  • Clear communicator, comfort directing volunteers

Wages: $15/hour, each night is approximately a 5 hour shift.

Looking for reliable, warm, enthusiastic Box Office Assistants for our front of house on event nights. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Pre-show: print out seating lists of pre-purchases for ushers
  • Confirm cash box amounts for box office
  • Sell tickets to walk up patrons starting one hour before show
  • Sell memberships and tickets to future shows as requested
  • Post-show: Reconcile cash to daily report and print out final sales report for House manager

Skills Desired:

  • Previous experience with any database: we use PatronManager, a Salesforce derived program. Specific knowledge of PM not required
  • Retail experience
  • Friendly, welcoming, not ruffled by lines
  • Attention to detail a plus

Commitment: We ask that you be available at least two evenings (or more) per month.  Hours are primarily 6:30-8:30 and most often on Friday and Saturday nights. You are welcome to stay for the duration of the show.

Compensation: $11/hour
